Estadio Banorte
A large-scale stadium and hospitality development in Mexico City where the lighting system spans two entirely different registers functional precision across the bowl and concourses, intimate warmth inside premium hospitality suites all unified under a single DALI control architecture.
One system. Two completely different jobs.
A stadium of this scale runs two lighting programs simultaneously: the functional precision required for the bowl, concourses, and circulation consistent, high-uniformity, unambiguous and the intimate, hospitality-grade atmosphere expected inside premium suites and lounges. Rather than run these as separate systems, we specified a single DALI architecture across the entire project, giving every zone independent addressability while keeping the whole building on one coherent control logic.
The premium hospitality areas use Dim-to-Warm technology extensively fixtures that shift colour temperature downward as they dim, mimicking the behaviour of incandescent light. A suite at full brightness for a pre-match reception reads crisp and energetic; the same fixtures dimmed for a post-match dinner shift naturally toward candlelight warmth, with no separate scene programming required beyond the dim level itself. The system scales from stadium-wide functional lighting to single-table intimacy without ever feeling like two different buildings.
