Herradura 285
A residence in Bosques de las Lomas, Mexico City, defined by floor-to-ceiling glazing and a direct indoor-outdoor connection. Interior and exterior lighting are unified at 2700K throughout — matched across all zones so the transition through the glazing feels continuous. All garden and terrace products were specified to IP65. The scheme is controlled through a DALI lighting control system.
2700K throughout. Inside and outside are one composition.
We matched colour temperature across interior and exterior at 2700K throughout, so the transition when looking through the glazing feels continuous. Exterior illuminance was calibrated below the interior ambient level the garden reads as a softly lit backdrop, never a competing brightness zone causing reflection on the internal glass.
Garden lighting operates in three independent layers: specimen tree uplighting from buried ground fixtures; low-level path and planting bed edge lighting; and a concealed LED strip beneath the covered terrace eave. The dining room received pendant units at staggered heights making the table the room’s natural focal destination.
