Bosques 39
Glint’s founding flagship residential project in Bosques de las Lomas, Mexico City. Every interior light source in the principal rooms is concealed. The entire scheme was specified at 2700K with CRI 95+ and is controlled through a DALI lighting control system.
The source is never seen. Only its effect remains.
We approached light as a material in itself with the same design weight as the stone, timber, and hand-applied plasters defining the interior. In the principal living room, every light source is concealed behind a custom plaster reveal at the perimeter cornice. The source is never seen. Only the effect on ceiling and walls remains.
The kitchen and dining zone breaks intentionally from this approach: pendant fixtures over the island and table are the room’s only visible designed pieces. This tension between the invisible and the explicit gives the home its character. Bosques 39 generated three direct client referrals in its first year of completion.
