Bosques 201
A room that breathes because nothing on the ceiling interrupts it light arriving only from the perimeter, warm and indirect, letting stone and plaster carry the atmosphere. A luxury apartment in Bosques de las Lomas, CDMX. 2700K and 3000K, controlled throughout by a DALI system.
No downlight grid in the living areas. The room breathes.
We eliminated conventional downlight grids entirely from the principal living and dining areas, replacing them with perimeter cove lighting and carefully positioned accent spots. This gives the space room to breathe while maintaining adequate light levels the ceiling plane remains completely uninterrupted, letting the architecture and material palette carry the room.
Kitchen and bathrooms received focused downlights at 3000K warm enough to feel residential but with sufficient clarity for preparation and grooming. The principal bedroom uses only indirect light sources: a continuous cove and bedside reading sconces on independent circuits, controllable to near-darkness from a single bedside panel.
